There’s no doubting the task facing us when we travel to Eintracht Frankfurt on Thursday evening.
Tomorrow’s opposition have pedigree in this competition, having reached the Europa League semi-final last season. Adi Hutter’s side were particularly impressive at home during that run, going unbeaten at Commerzbank-Arena - a run of form noted by Sead Kolasinac.
“Of course I followed Frankfurt in the Europa League last season,” Kolasinac said at our pre-match press conference. “At home, they turned matches around that weren’t easy [to win].
“We know what’s in front of us tomorrow, especially in the stadium, but we’re looking forward to starting in the Europa League and that we start here in Frankfurt.
