Jonas Eidevall was disappointed with our display in Friday night’s 3-1 defeat against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea scored all three of their goals in the first half and, despite an improved second-half showing and a goal from Kim Little, we were unable to close the gap on the Barclays Women’s Super League leaders.
“It’s a poor performance from us, we didn’t reach our standards,” Jonas told Arsenal.com after the game. “We played against a Chelsea side that’s clearly set out to counter attack and we let them do that too many times in the first half and they’re very effective on those occasions and that creates a very difficult journey for us today.
