Jeremy Corbyn reveals that taking Angela Merkel to an Arsenal match and telling off Donald Trump are his top priorities if he is elected PM

Jeremy Corbyn has revealed that taking Angela Merkel to an Arsenal match and telling Donald Trump off on would be his top priorities if he is elected PM on Thursday.

The Labour leader also said he would take a softer tone on the Brexit talks and guarantee the rights of all EU nationals living Britain - potentially cutting adrift the one million Britons living abroad on the bloc.

His list of priorities if he is elected Prime Minister will fuel concerns that the left-winger would be out of his depth in No 10.

In an interview with The Guardian he revealed that if he is elected on Thursday he would get in touch with the US President and urge him to retract his 'unacceptable' remarks criticising Sadiq Khan.
