Jack Wilshere should only sign a new contract at Arsenal if Antonio Conte replaces Arsene Wenger as manager, says former Gunners midfielder Stewart Robson.
The England international’s contract at the Etihad Stadium is due to expire at the end of the season, although Wenger has recently said that talks over a new deal are ‘progressing’.
The Gunners boss is hopeful Wilshere will stay at the club, however rumours on Thursday have claimed there is ‘no chance’ the midfielder will sign the current deal on the table, which includes a 25 per cent pay cut.
