Jack Wilshere Set to Ignore Foreign Interest in January, Targets Arsenal Stay

Jack Wilshere is reportedly set to pay no attention to interest from foreign clubs in January, as he hopes to sign a new deal at Arsenal and eventually become a legend at the Emirates Stadium.

According to the Daily Mail's Sami Mokbel, despite interest from Marseille and a number of other teams outside England—who can reach a pre-contract agreement with him this month as his contract is set to expire at the end of the season—Wilshere is focused only on playing for the Gunners.

The midfielder still hopes to write his name into the north London outfit's history, a view shared by many inside the club, and he would also prefer not to uproot his family, particularly with his third child expected this year.
