Danielle van de Donk has had quite the week for the club and country.
On Tuesday night she sealed qualification to the 2019 Women’s World Cup in France - and on Sunday she opened the scoring in our 4-0 win over Everton.
“We’re getting her in positions where she can affect the game,” Joe Montemurro told Arsenal.com.
“She’s very good in build-up play, but she’s also very good in the second phase when we do go forward and she’s very good at getting herself in goalscoring positions.
“She’s a smart player and coupled with all of that, she’s also had the euphoria of qualifying for the World Cup, so it’s been a massive week for her.
