'It was a lucky escape': Fire chief reveals shocking damage and fears of serious injuries as Harry Kane says his family are 'fine' after car ploughed into van carrying his three young children and another vehicle

A fire chief has said everyone involved in a car crash in Germany which led to three of Harry Kane's children to be rushed to hospital were 'very lucky' not to be seriously injured - as he revealed the shocking damage sustained in the collision.

The England captain's children Louis, three, Vivienne, five, and Ivy, seven, were all travelling in a Mercedes van when it collided with a Renault near Schäftlarn in Munich - near where he plays for Bayern Munich - on Monday afternoon.

They were taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital for a check-up and did not sustain any serious injuries.
