In the first of their Euro 2025 qualifying play-offs, Katie McCabe captained Ireland to a 6-0 win over Georgia, scoring twice and assisting twice in the process.
The Irish skipper hit first from the penalty spot, before beating the goalkeeper with an outrageous strike just past the halfway line.
Norway also made a positive start to the play-offs against Albania, with Frida Maanum opening the scoring in the impressive 5-0 victory. Our Norwegian received the ball on the move and squeezed her shot through two defenders to nestle in the bottom corner.
To continue the play-off success, Stina Blackstenius was on the scoresheet for Sweden in their 4-0 win over Luxembourg.
