Eight of our players were in action for their respective national teams during the international break. Scroll down to find out how they go on:
Kieran Tierney scored his first ever international goal as Scotland drew 1-1 with Poland at Hampden Park on Thursday. Our left-back played the full 90 minutes and gave his country the lead late on, heading home John McGinn’s inswinging set-piece to open the scoring. Krzysztof Piatek then levelled the game from the spot in the 94th minute to share the honours.
Nicolas Pepe was also on target this week, opening the scoring and putting in a fine performance against France as Ivory Cost lost 2-1 to Les Bleus in Marseille.
