Pablo Mari has revealed his desire to remain at Arsenal following his loan until the end of the season.
The 26-year-old defender, secured on a short-term deal from Flamengo, has impressed during his first two appearances for the club.
And after boss Mikel Arteta admitted Mari had adapted well to life at the Emirates, the Spaniard expressed hope that he will be able to remain in North London.
Mari has featured twice for Arsenal, with the star helping his team-mates shut out both Portsmouth and West Ham.
The Gunners have the option to snap up the centre back on permanent terms in the summer, and Mari is eager to pledge his future to the top flight giants.
