'I knew I was no longer part of their plans': Jorginho breaks silence on Chelsea exit and reveals his move to Arsenal was completed in less than 48 hours after Mikel Arteta had called him

Arsenal's January signing Jorginho has broken his silence on leaving Chelsea, admitting that he knew he 'was no longer part of their plans'.

The Italian completed his shock move to the Emirates for £12million on deadline day after falling out of favour at Chelsea.

Jorginho was set to fall even further down the pecking order when Chelsea broke the British transfer record to sign Enzo Fernandez for £107m from Benfica.

The 31-year-old, who is no stranger to winning trophies, is now hoping to help the Gunners lift their first Premier League title in 19 years.
