Dani Ceballos has hinted he will call an end to his time at Arsenal when his loan spell expires – by insisting he wants to see out his contract at Real Madrid.
The midfielder joined Arsenal on loan in the summer transfer window and had an impressive first few games with the north London side before being ruled out in November with a hamstring injury.
That saw him stuck on the sidelines for three months, damaging his prospects of staying at the Emirates.
Yet Ceballos managed to work his way back into Mikel Arteta's thoughts and the manager picked him to start in the three games prior to the coronavirus pandemic.
