Two goals in the opening ten minutes from Eddie Nketiah laid the platform for a crucial win over Leeds United at Emirates Stadium.
It looked to be plain sailing after Nketiah robbed Illan Meslier on the line for the opener, then swept in Gabriel Martinelli’s cross for the second. Especially as Leeds were soon down to 10 men when Luke Ayling was dismissed for a lunge on Gabriel Martinelli.
But the visitors rallied, scoring through Diego Llorente from a corner in the second half to ensure a nervous conclusion.
We held on for the win, and with three games remaining we are four points ahead of fifth-placed Tottenham.
