A £110,000-a-week Premier League footballer has bought Wales's most expensive house of the year for £3.1million.
Arsenal and Wales midfielder Aaron Ramsey, who celebrated his 27th birthday on Boxing Day yesterday, kept the sale price under wraps when he bought the five-bedroom home in an exclusive suburb of Cardiff.
But Land Registry records have now revealed that the footballer purchased the property for £1.4million off the original price of £4.5million, although this still made it the highest price house sale in Wales in 2017.
