Arsenal defender David Luiz has the 'the attributes, the knowledge and experience' to make a successful transition into coaching, believes his boss Mikel Arteta.
The 32-year-old Brazilian already has one eye on his post-playing career as Arteta revealed that Luiz's coaching ambitions have been made clear through one-to-one discussions.
Luiz is just six years younger than his manager and appears to be trying to get a head-start as Arteta revealed the centre back has already started undertaking his coaching badges.
'I think we can get a few (from the current squad), just joking a little bit, but through the process, they are really willing to try and understand the game better and how they can coach as well,' Arteta said through a Q&A with supporters on social media.
