Arsenal put in a statement performance in their final pre-season friendly of the summer as they thrashed Sevilla 6-0 in the Emirates Cup.
New signing Gabriel Jesus scored a hat-trick in his first Emirates Stadium appearance in a Gunners shirt, while Bukayo Saka grabbed a brace as Mikel Arteta’s side blew their opponents away in a blistering first half display.
They scored four goals in the space of nine minutes and any watching Premier League rivals would have done well to not feel at least a little worried.

The game was only eight minutes old when new Gunners Martin Odegaard played through Saka, who was shoved over in the box and won an early penalty.
