'Gabi brings energy, belief, charisma and goals'

Gabriel Martinelli is edging ever closer to a return to first-team football - and Mikel Arteta cannot wait to have him fully fit and firing again.

The Brazilian forward had a superb first season in English football before a knee injury ended his campaign prematurely.

But Martinelli is now very close to full fitness, and his manager is confident he can make a big impact when he is ready to go.

"Gabi is pure enthusiasm, energy, belief, charisma and goals," Arteta said.
