Manchester City have overtaken Arsenal for top spot in the Premier League by beating Fulham 2-1 at Craven Cottage on Sunday.
Erling Haaland bagged his 50th goal of the season across all competitions by scoring from the penalty spot after just three minutes following Tim Ream's foul on Julian Alvarez inside the box.
The hosts looked to throw a spanner in the works of Pep Guardiola's title-chasing ambitions with Carlos Vinicius equalising in the 15th minute.
However, Argentina World Cup winner Alvarez was on hand to score a goal-of-the-season contender as his long-range effort beat Bernd Leno between the sticks.
