Steve Stammers, the highly-regarded football reporter for the Daily Mail, Sunday Mirror and London Evening Standard, has died aged 71 after a short illness.
Steve was one of the great story getters on the London scene and earned acclaim covering Arsenal for the Evening Standard in the glorious early years of Arsene Wenger’s reign.
