Former Arsenal midfielder Ainsley Maitland-Niles is in talks to join Lyon.
The 25-year-old has been without a club since departing the north london side this summer after 20 years with them.
The free agent is set to end his stay in england and has been offered a four year contract by the Ligue 1 giants.
Maitland-Niles - who can operate in central midfield and at full back - came through the youth ranks at Arsenal and made his debut at the age of 17.
