Joe Montemurro’s side will be hoping to extend their winning streak following the international break when they face Everton in the Women’s Super League on Sunday.
THE STORY SO FAR
We head into this fixture off the back of seven consecutive victories in the WSL, our most recent being a hard-fought 3-1 win over Birmingham City at Meadow Park.
Jordan Nobbs opened the scoring on the hour mark following a tightly contested first half, but less than a minute later, the visitors pulled one back through Emma Follis.
Montemurro’s side continued to play their expansive football, despite the defensive organisation of their opponents, and in the 67th minute Danielle van de Donk converted from the spot to restore our lead.
