Everton are reportedly ahead of Southampton in the race to sign Arsenal forward Theo Walcott.
According to Sami Mokbel in the Daily Mail, the Toffees have joined the Saints in their pursuit of Walcott, who is valued at £20 million, and feel confident they'll come out on top as they're better equipped to match or at least come close to his £110,000 per week wages.
By contrast, he'd have to take a pay cut if he were to sign for Southampton, the club he left when he joined Arsenal as a 16-year-old.
