Emmanuel Petit believes Arsenal have 'missed a trick' in not employing former legends as coaches.
Patrick Vieira, Thierry Henry and Dennis Bergkamp all enjoyed distinguished careers with the Gunners but have gone into coaching elsewhere.
Vieira is in charge of New York City FC after beginning his coaching career with Manchester while Bergkamp is with Ajax and Henry is working alongside Roberto Martinez with the Belgium national team.
Former Gunner Petit admits he was shocked to see Vieira given an opportunity by City after his association with Arsenal and believes the north London club should have looked to appoint former players.
