Arsenal need to act quickly in securing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's future in order to avoid losing the prolific striker on a free transfer like they did with Aaron Ramsey, says Charlie Nicholas.
The Gabonese forward has been heavily linked with a move away from the Emirates as the club continues its three-year hiatus from the Champions League, with Europe giants Barcelona, Real Madrid and Manchester United all believed to be interested.
Former Gunners midfielder Ramsey was allowed to leave on a free to join Juventus last summer after 11 years at the club, and former player Nicholas has warned the same could happen with star man Aubameyang if his contract, which is set to expire in 2021, is not extended in the near future.
