Eddie Howe's Newcastle can progress from Champions League 'Group of Death', says CHRIS SUTTON, as the Magpies draw Kylian Mbappe's PSG, Borussia Dortmund and AC Milan

Newcastle were thrust straight into the fire on their return to the Champions League after being drawn in Group F.

The Champions League group stage draw took place on Thursday evening in Monaco, with the Magpies one of four Premier League sides entering the competition.

While Manchester City and Arsenal were handed relatively easy quartets, Manchester United will have to contend with Bayern Munich.

But it was Newcastle that found themselves in at the deep end, taking on the likes of Kylian Mbappe's PSG, Borussia Dortmund and last season's semi-finallists AC Milan.
