Dietmar Hamann has given his damning assessment of Arsenal after the club's dismal Champions League exit on Wednesday, insisting the Gunners are no better than they were last season.
Joshua Kimmich's second-half header handed Bayern Munich a 1-0 win on the night at the Allianz Arena, consigning Arsenal to a 3-2 defeat on aggregate after Mikel Arteta's side struggled to create any clear cut chances during the match.
Hamann, who made over 100 appearances for Bayern Munich during his playing career, was unimpressed by Arsenal's drab display and did not hold back in his cutting verdict of the north London side.
