Steve Parish was adamant that the 'feeling is good' at Crystal Palace in the wake of manager Patrick Vieira's sacking on Friday morning.
The club chairman and co-owner struck an optimistic tone when talking to Sky Sports, after the news had broken and further to a statement from the south London club that former captain Paddy McCarthy would lead the team against Arsenal this weekend.
McCarthy, who coaches the club's under-21 side, will be assisted by Darren Powell and retained first-team goalkeeping coach Dean Kiely when the Eagles travel to the Emirates to face the Premier League leaders.
