West Ham vice-chairman Karren Brady has called for the Premier League to declare the 2019/20 season 'null and void' if the coronavirus pandemic fails to ease.
On Friday, the Premier League confirmed all fixtures will be postponed until at least April 3 after Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta succumbed to the virus on Thursday.
There is hope that the pandemic will ease in time for clubs to fulfil their remaining fixtures but if it doesn't, then the division's decision makers are faced with a difficult choice.
Cancellation of the season could see Liverpool miss out on a first league title in 30 years, while Championship clubs may be denied promotion to the Premier League.
