Charity matchday raises record total

Thanks to the generosity of supporters, players, ballboys and staff, our match dedicated to the Arsenal Foundation against Stoke City on December 10 raised more than £250k to fund projects which use the Arsenal name to support young people.

This is the tenth year that the manager and players have come together to donate a day’s wages - which is fast becoming a Gunners’ tradition - to continue our work with young people, giving them a chance to thrive through a variety of education, sport and arts projects in the UK and overseas.

This year also saw record sales of the Arsenal Christmas jumper in aid of Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day initiative.
