April 22 is Earth Day. This day, more than any other, gives us an opportunity to stop for a moment and reflect on the planet we call home, and consider its future in our hands.
As a global, annual event, Earth Day has long been an important part of the calendar for those who want to try to make changes to their lifestyle and have a positive impact upon our planet.
One easy yet impactful action we can all take is to consider what we eat and where it comes from. The production and transportation of food is responsible for 33 per cent of global carbon emissions, so our choices can make a huge impact.
