Steph Catley produced an incredible performance with two goals and two assists as Australia came from 5-2 down to beat Zambia 6-5 at the Paris 2024 Olympics on Sunday.
Barbra Banda gave Zambia the lead in the first minute of the match before Catley got her first assist for Alanna Kennedy to equalise.
But Zambia were firing on all cylinders in the first half, Racheal Kundananji getting on the scoresheet before Banda netted her brace to make it 3-1.
Kyra Cooney-Cross then got the assist for Hayley Raso to pull one back but Banda restored Zambia’s two-goal cushion with her hat-trick on the brink of half-time.
