Casey Stoney says she's 'deeply sorry' and admits to 'error in judgement' after allowing Manchester United players to travel to Dubai - but takes aim at Everton for postponing their game despite Toffees not recording any new Covid positive tests

Casey Stoney has admitted she made an 'error in judgement' by allowing her Manchester United players to travel abroad during Christmas, insisting she was 'deeply sorry' for the backlash it has caused.

While some of Stoney's players made international journeys to see their families, others went on holiday to Dubai - a destination that was visited by several Women's Super League players during the break.

Four Manchester City players tested positive for Covid-19 following a trip to the United Arab Emirates while one of three Arsenal players who travelled also tested positive.
