Cardiff City sign former Arsenal and Crystal Palace striker Marouane Chamakh on short-term deal

Former Arsenal and Crystal Palace striker Marouane Chamakh has signed a short-term deal at Cardiff City.

New manager Neil Warnock has been busy in the transfer market, landing Sol Bamba and Junior Hoilett since getting the job.

And now he has moved to strengthen his frontline with the capture of Moroccan forward Chamakh.

Warnock knows all about Chamakh, having worked with him during his time at Palace and he has handed him a contract until January in south Wales.

The 32-year-old told Cardiff Player: "I'm so happy to be here and work with the manager again.
