Brighton 'turn their attention to Arsenal midfielder Albert Sambi Lokonga after £26m deal for Carlos Baleba stalls' - as the Premier League's early pace setters look to land replacement for £115m Moises Caicedo

Brighton have reportedly turned their attention to acquiring Albert Sambi Lokonga after talks with Lille's Carlos Baleba stalled.

Roberto De Zerbi's side, who have enjoyed a near-perfect start to the new campaign, looked set to complete a £25.6million deal for the 19-year-old midfielder on Monday.

But have now made an about-face in the direction of the unwanted Arsenal midfielder as they look to reinvest the £150m received in the sales of Alexis Mac Allister and Moises Caicedo.

According to talkSPORT, the 23-year-old is now being pursued by the Seagulls who will look to bring the Belgian to the Amex initially on-loan.
