Brighton will have to pay in excess of £20m to sign Deportivo striker Florin Andone.
Deportivo only want to do business if they can seal the deal for Arsenal's Lucas Perez but could be tempted if Brighton return with a bid today.
Chris Hughton has already had one offer knocked back, worth around £14m. Deportivo's position is complicated as they only have the economic rights to 70 per cent of the player, with Cordoba retaining the remaining 30 per cent.
With Depor keen to take around £15m for themselves, this means Brighton will have to stretch towards £20m to strike a deal.
