Brighton midfielder Steve Sidwell slams Arsenal players for display at The Amex, as former academy product says they have 'no fight, no desire and no passion to wear the shirt'

Steve Sidwell has laid into Arsenal players following their meek surrender against his Brighton team on Sunday.

The 35-year-old, who is currently out injured, watched the newly promoted side produce an improbable 2-1 victory to improve their hopes of beating the drop.

However, as a former product of the Arsenal academy, and still a self-professed fan of the north London club, the midfielder was less than impressed by the resistance put up by their visitors.

It was the fourth straight defeat suffered by Arsene Wenger's side and Sidwell slammed the current crop of stars for their attitude at The Amex Stadium.
