Graham Potter joked he will be hoping to avoid ever winning manager of the month after seeing Arsenal unravel since Mikel Arteta received the award.
Since Arteta landed the honour for March, Arsenal have lost twice and have also seen two key players suffer serious injuries.
The second defeat was inflicted by Potter's Brighton, who ended their seven-game winless streak.
Potter said, 'Arsenal have been fantastic before. It's probably the curse of the manager of the month award, so I'll make sure I never get one of them!
