Arsenal suffered their fourth straight loss at the hands of Brighton to heap further pressure on Arsene Wenger on Sunday.
Lewis Dunk gave the Seagulls an early lead before Glenn Murray headed home with aplomb to give Chris Hughton’s men some breathing room. A goal from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang brought the Gunners back into the contest, but it was not enough.
Arsenal are now without a win since beating Everton 5-1 at the start of February, meaning they are now 13 points outside of the top four. Brighton recorded consecutive league wins for the first time this season, enough to lift them up to 12th, but still only four points clear of the relegation zone.
