Brentford goalkeeper David Raya 'agrees personal terms with Arsenal and wants to join Mikel Arteta's side'... with clubs set to hold more talks on £40m fee

Brentford goalkeeper David Raya has reportedly agreed personal terms with Arsenal.

The Gunners are now expected to expected to ramp up their bid to sign the £40million-rated stopper, according to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano.

He tweeted: 'Understand David Raya has reached an agreement in principle with Arsenal on personal terms.

'Brentford have been informed by player side that he wants to join Arsenal — and talks between clubs over formula/price are now expected to accelerate.'

Arsenal want to sign Raya as back-up for Aaron Ramsdale.
