Brentford have declared that Ivan Toney is 'ready to return' to competitive after the striker scored a panenka penalty in a behind-closed-doors friendly against Brondby.
Toney's eight-month ban for breaching betting rules is set to come to an end on January 16, meaning he will be able to feature against Nottingham Forest on January 20.
The striker, who is the subject of interest from Arsenal and Chelsea, managed to get on the scoresheet as a Brentford XI lost 3-1 at home to Brondby.
Toney calmly slotted home the spot-kick, with Kristoffer Ajer, Ben Mee and Josh Dasilva also receiving runouts, as reported by Brentford's official website.
