Brentford boss Thomas Frank admits he would 'love to get £40m' for David Raya with Arsenal exploring a move for the goalkeeper and says it would be a 'fair price' after Gunners signed Declan Rice for £105m

Brentford manager Thomas Frank believes £40million is a fair price for Spanish shot-stopper David Raya.

Frank ranks Raya among the best goalkeepers in the Premier League and feels he should command a premium price for his services amid interest from Arsenal.

According to the Athletic, The Gunners are exploring a deal to sign Raya to provide competition for current No1 Aaron Ramsdale next season.

Brentford are yet to receive an official bid from Arsenal but are aware of their interest.

'Like everything it's a negotiation. I would love to get £40m,' Frank told assembled media when asked about Raya's value.
