BREAKING NEWS: FA confirm NO action is being taken against Arsenal defender Gabriel or Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson after on-pitch spat... with eight players involved in investigation that left 'no case to answer'

Gabriel Magalhaes and Jordan Henderson have both been cleared of any wrongdoing following an investigation by the Football Association into their spat earlier this month.

Both sets of players clashed in the second half of Arsenal's win over Liverpool, just moments after referee Michael Oliver awarded the Gunners their decisive penalty, amid angry scenes on the field.

Gabriel and Henderson, along with six other players, were interviewed as part of a 'thorough investigation' but the FA are satisfied there is no case to answer.
