Beth Mead has won the 2022 BBC Women's Footballer of the Year award.
Whilst posing for the official team photo, Beth was surprised by ex-England teammate Ellen White, who presented her with the accolade. Our cameras were on hand at London Colney to capture our whole squad's reaction, which you can watch below:
Following a fantastic year for both club and country, Beth was deemed the top candidate over Chelsea striker Sam Kerr, Wolfburg attacker Alexandra Popp, Barcelona's Alexia Putellas, and Lyon captain Wendie Renard.
The fan-voted prize has been running since 2015 and has previously been awarded to fellow Gunners Kim Little and Vivianne Miedema.
