Atletico Madrid striker Matheus Cunha underwent the first part of his medical on Wednesday ahead of signing on loan for Wolves.

The 23-year old Brazilian will undergo further tests on Thursday before finalising paperwork on a deal that could eventually cost Wolves £40million in the summer.

Cunha will become the first signing of coach Julen Lopetegui's era at Molineux.
