Atletico Madrid target Arsenal left back Oleksandr Zinchenko but face competition from German giants

Arsenal left-back Oleksandr Zinchenko is a target for Atletico Madrid who have made an enquiry for the 28-year-old.

Zinchenko joined the Gunners in 2022 from Manchester City, and was a major boost to Mikel Arteta's plans at the time, but has found himself falling down the packing order in recent times.

The Ukrainian is now essentially the third-choice left back at the club, with Myles Lewis-Skelly jumping ahead of the 28-year-old in terms of selection in the position and Riccardo Calafiori also an option.

The Gunners are looking to add to their squad during the January transfer window, particularly in attacking areas, but could also cut other players, and Zinchenko could be on his way out.
