Arsenal teenager Dan Crowley will join Dutch club Go Ahead Eagles on loan in a bid to kick-start his career.
Midfielder Crowley was one of the hottest young talents in English football when Arsene Wenger won the race to sign him from Aston Villa in 2013, when he was 15. But he has failed to make an impact at Arsenal and has been sent back early from loans at Barnsley and Oxford.
His £300,000-a-year contract runs out at the end of next season and Wenger will not extend the 19-year-old’s deal without progress.

Crowley is an example of a flawed youth development system, an issue addressed by Wenger in the latest edition of Arsenal’s official magazine.
