Arsene Wenger urges Arsenal supporters to 'stand behind the team' ahead of West Ham clash as Frenchman plans 'to finish on a high'

Arsene Wenger has urged Arsenal supporters to 'stand behind the team' ahead of their Premier League clash with West Ham on Sunday afternoon.

The match will be the Frenchman's first since he announced on Friday that he would stand down as Gunners boss at the end of the season, after almost 22 years in charge.

The 68-year-old insisted he wants to go out on a high and has asked for the fans support to help make that happen.
