Arsenal defender Pablo Mari is to undergo a medical in Italy ahead of finalising his £4million move to Monza.
He will join the newly-promoted Serie A outfit - owned by Silvio Burlusconi - as their 19th signing of the summer, with the ambitious club hoping that strength in numbers will save them from an immediate return to Serie B.
Although initially impressing at the Emirates Stadium, Mari became something of an outcast in north London of late due to recent arrivals Ben White and William Saliba.
