The Gunners’ season is in danger of imploding as uncertainty continues to rage over the future of manager Arsene Wenger, with the club precariously placed in the Premier League table, ten points behind fourth placed Manchester City, admittedly with games in hand on the clubs currently occupying the Champions League places.
Failure to qualify for Europe’s premier competition for the first time in 20 years will intensify the pressure on Wenger, but McLintock insists the Frenchman cannot be held solely responsible for the current malaise.
