Arsenal's move for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has hit a stumbling block after Borussia Dortmund insisted they would not let the striker leave without having a replacement lined-up.
Arsenal chief executive Ivan Gazidis and head of recruitment Sven Mislintat have flown to Germany in an effort to complete their swoop for the 28-year-old striker.
The Gunners have already had a £43million offer for Aubameyang rejected, though Arsenal will return with a improved offer. But Dortmund are driving a hard bargain.
Firstly, they want a minimum of £53million for the striker - a fee that would break Arsenal’s transfer record currently held by summer signing Alexandre Lacazette.
